• They actually planned to surprise us before lunch but john (who apparently co-planned the surprise with clare) was still at HOME when we three and the others arrived at J8.
• The "dad" was john.
• The frap was from aaron who very also sms-ing clare the whole time.
• The "short jaunt to BreadTalk" was for him to pass the cash to clare.
• We couldn't eat at the food court because brandon and gareth were up there before.
• I was the most stupidest person in the whole entire world.

Dawn:
"jun fei daph chun and i went shopping separately and bought a huge jar, dozens of hair accessories, and spurs for kath's surprise present! the final present would be this beeyootiful jar decorated and all, full of hair accessories & spurs and personalised as well as crappy notes!"

Daph:
"we gave her these really cool things in this big glass jar. we filled it with loads of rubber bands, clips, hair rollers etc. and we also put in a horseshoe, a pair of spurs (cos she really wanted a pair) and lots of little notes, both random and heartfelt."

Dawn:
"it was raining heavily and we needed stationery
so i ran in the rain to the office.
i tried to break into the office
but couldn't remember the code!
the code is KATH'S SPECIALTY
but of course, we couldn't call her! :/
finally, i managed to break the code! hahah!
after i stole the stationery needed
there was LIGHTNING all over the place!
i totally didn't dare run back to the clubhouse :/
what with the saddleclub's infamous history of lightning strikes!
finally, jun and fei came to rescue me :D
so i wasn't scared anymore
because fei is so tall
the lightning would strike her first!"

Jun:
"it poured, then stopped, then started raining again /: was kinda annoying ! me fei and dawn went early to do kath's gorgeous jar ! so me and fei sent darling dawn to the office to get sticky stuff and marker. we forgot the lock code ! only kath knows but as if dawn could call and say, hi kath im getting a marker to do your preent can you give me the lock code ? so we guess and guess and we got it ! hurray ! then suddenly the thunder started roaring and guess what ? the stupid ass dawn was too scared to come back, even with the umbrella ! me and fei were hopping around for 10 minutes thinking about what to do with that idiot. we rescued her in the end ! it was pouring and the water just soaked right through out shoes, thanks dawn ! "

Fei:
"anyways went to the club at 2.30 today. met dawn who was all ready to conquer the wet wet wet weather. we told dawn to go get tape from sandra's office and after she went she didnt dare to come back out cause she was frecked out about all the lightning and thunder and was afraid she may get striked! so jun and i had to go over to save her. making our school shoes soaking wet! "dawn come on, i am taller, if lightning were to strike it'll strike me first!" only after i said that did dawn hurriedly took her umbrella and followed us back to the club house! jun and i had a puddle of water in our shoes! so after that we we did kath's bottle and went to ride."

Fei:
"it was kath's birthday today and she really fell for ALL our lies! hahaha! kath kath havent you learnt since the bangkok trip? jun, nat and fei went missing!?! "

Jun:
"and kath was hilarious the whole way. she actually believed fei was the only one there and that i was having guides and dawn pw ! either our acting's good or kath's dense. i go for the second option. kath, you got tricked two years running ! so fei was smsing kath who she was riding and kath would update everything to dawn immediately while dawn would read her message out while standing beside me and fei ! it was real funny :D "

Dawn:
"fei spoke to kath on the phone
and kath asked which horses we got today
stupid fei went to call my name to ask me!
she nearly let the cat out of the bag!
luckily, kath, being so dense, didn't notice! :P
i told fei the horses, and she told kath.
THEN, kath went to sms ME to tell me!
hahaha gosshh, kaaaath!
i replied her saying "oh.." and stuff
acting like i didn't already know!

OF THE RIDE:

Jun:
"riding ! i was on oatie, dawn magic, prema on lobo, tirtha on sunshine, kath on stanley.noone wished kath happy birthday :D mette took us. her lesson is actually good ! tiring, for one thing. i think i ride better in the rain. when i got red in a frame, it was raining. when i had a real workout yesterday, it was raining. hmm.oatie wasnt exactly forward, so it took abit of whipping and all my leg power to get her to wake up.she was nice (: she goes in a frame so easily ! really needs more impulsion though. oatie's nice but tricky, if you dont pay attention down her head goes ! poor mette, i was so focused on my riding sometimes what she was saying just turned into this background sound sort of thing ! plus, it was raining. so i was quite blur some bits.we did the half circle off the track thingy, it was fun :D then oatie started leaning and leaning. i half halted upwards and squeezed but she kept leaning again ! tsk. need to get her more in front of the leg, as usual /: i think maybe i dont know how to apply leg pressure effectively! "

Dawn:

magic's really good! (:
except like, huge and i don't have
a lot of influence on him size-wise!
and he's like stronggg! like pulls.
so half-halt, don't pull back
and sit back, although it's a tendency
to lean forward to lock your arms.
did quite a bit of sitting trot
my right leg still needs to push down!
magic's trot is not thaaat bad to sit to,
big and bouncy as it is!
he's real nice to flex though!
right flexion has improved!
must be sue's schooling lah! :D "

Fei:
"rode bea chun was on bilco. it was raining when we were riding. so annoying i tell you ,the rain. but thank god there was no thunder or lightning then so were could ride! bea was nice i must say. she didnt run and wasnt that nervous and fresh. so we trot and did some half loops and kept changing the reins and mantaining bend and flexsion in sitting trot and all. then we cantered. there are so many things to think about while cantering bea. its tricky! hahaha! but the lesson was nice. "

Stan was NICEE! :D and he flexes nice! i'm just a hopeless failure at flexing him in trot without side reins. But i LOVEE his sitting trot.

OF THE SURPRISE:

Daph:

Dawn:
"then the big bash!
everyone except me and kath went to hide in the toilet
the plan was for me to bring kath to the toilet
after everyone else
and the lights would be off
and everyone would suddenly jump out and yell 'surprise'
then we give her the jar?

however! when i led kath to the toilet,
i could see from the crack under the door
that the lights were on!
i hesitated for very long, haha
i seriously didn't know what to say or do!
finally i decided to just lead kath in.
i was supposed to say "eh? blackout ah?"
so the gang would know it was us
but now there was no blackout!

after a while, everyone jumped out of the cubicles
and they went "aiyaaa, plan fail already!"
it turned out that tirtha's mum went in
so they couldn't off the lightssss! :(
but oh well!

we gave kath the jar and
she was realllll pleased! :D
kath tried on the funky hair stuff.

"we went and hid in the toilet cubicles and switched off the light according to plan. we heard footsteps, then the light came on ! we were like, darn ! dawn was supposed to come with kath in the dark and go like, wah, blackout ah ? that would be our queue to burt out yelling "happy birthday !" but tirtha's mom beat them to it and when dawn and kath came in the light was on ! we let dawn stone around with kath in the toilet for a few minutes then fei was like, i give up ! failed plan ! and we all came out ! so sad. but at least kath's present was nice (: she and dawn had fun putting on the wacky hair accessories."

OF THE POST-SURPRISE EVENTS:

Jun:
" we went back to the stables and played hanky panky with our butts ! poor prema didnt know the game so she lost ! haha ! should have taken a picture. we HAVE to take pictures !down by bank of the hanky pankywhere the bullfrog jumps from bank to bankyand a fee fi fo fumwho's got a smelly bumone two three four five six seven eight nine ten ! :D

Daph:
"walked around and we all relived our childhood days by playing those weirdo hand games at the stables. people must have thought we were crazy, but we were having fun :D chun, please stop saying i'm suicidal, I'M NOT. :D oh oh oh ! we played with dawn's super-cute sister Erin today. she didn't like chun and fei much though. fei was like "you can be a princess like me" HAHAH. she just kinda stared at us, then she went "mommy....." and burst out crying ): i swear, she's damn cute. DAWN, I WANT YOUR SISTER !"
